disadvantages- this means that they are limited and they cant explain why they chose it
Open ended- There are endless possibilities of answers
disadvantages- these questions can be biased, infinite amount of answers which would lead to a broadened conclusion allowing the results not to be specific enough.
The best questionnaires are a mixture of both closed ended and open ended questions so you can get their answers and opinions.
When making a questionnaire you have to think about how are the questions going to help you and how are you going to sum up all the questions being answered after the person has filled out the questionnaire.
Advantages of questionnaires
Its cheap and easier to navigate for the people that may not want an interview face to face. if writtten correctly could help you find definite answers.
